Exchange and POP'ed emails

Is it possible to have OUTLOOK doing Out-of-office messages in this situation? I know that if one is doing webmail this is not possible unless the on-line Exchange facility is purchased.

Why are you using POP when you have your own Exchange server? Have your email delivered directly to your SBS server as it is designed to be. You just need to change your MX record to point to your public IP.
