I just posted the question about the missing "to" field on outgoing emails generated from a cgi script I have installed. I have Exchange 5.5 installed. I also have IIS 4.0 installed. The SMTP service (in the NT control panel "services") is disabled, and SMTP is not started in IIS 4.0. All email functionality works for all domain users incoming and outgoing email. However, as stated, the "to" field for all outgoing emails from the cgi program are blank or "unspecified". If I start the SMTP service, or set up the SMTP site in IIS 4.0 will that conflict with Exchange in any way? Is there some setting in Exchange I can tweak?
