Here is my question, if you were to setup a pop3 account within outlook you have to use SBC/At&T's outgoing mail server. Now that i have a exchange server in place, the mail is taking extremely long to send if it sends at all. Do i need to route my outgoing mail from exchange through At&t? The MX records havent updated yet either, could this be casuing it?

thanks

MX records have nothing to do with sending email.

Dump POP3 altogether, and use Exchange for inbound and outbound.
