Exchange and Active Directory Backup

Hi,
I have problem with exchange backup, I get following error:
Error on get_server_dn: error_code, error_text

NetWorker Module was unable to obtain the server distinguished name from
Active Directory. This may be caused by a network connection problem with the domain controller.

Anybody help me?

What type of backup s/w are you using? Are you doing Brick Level backup?
Im using Veritas 8.6 B.E and I only backing up the Microsoft Infomation Service and System State. Im ready to swap into another server sometime this week.

Hi,
We using Legato Networker ver. 6.1.2.
When we using MIS and SS backup everything is Ok. Problem exist when we backing up mailboxes.

I have brick level backup(indiviual boxes). Does your server hae Outlook in it?, if you do try to remove it 1st. I hear it can creat problme, if you have OL2K in the server.
YOu can try Veritas 9.0 for 60 Eval and see if you like or not.
