Exchange agent will not accept service account 1

Hi,

I recently had to reinstall the Arcserve 6.6.1 agent for Exchange 5.5. Nothing about the Exchanges service account has changed, but when I get to the screen in the agent setup titled "Microsoft Exchange Account Information", and I put in the correct information, it comes back with the error "Failed to get the information for the specified account, EC=1314".

Nothing has changed, it worked before I reinstalled it, but it just will not accept these or any other details anymore.

Any help you can provide will be most appreciated.

Did you reinstall the agent when logged in to the machine as the 'service account admin' user for Exchange 5.5 ??

Thanks everybody for your help,

Cyklops was right, I wasn't logging on as the service account when I installed the backup agent. I did this and it worked straight away.
