Exchange Agent Error--Logging into agent stopping RPC Server

I noticed that the bricks level backup failed due to RPC serve failure. I uninstalled and reinstalled the agent.

When trying to authenicate the exchange service account for exchange agent I get an "Error: StartService []: Return(4)".
Naturally, Arcserve support knows nothing. Anyone seen this?

Might try verifying your user/password for the Arcserve NT Services.
In Control Panel, Services: for Arcserve Database, Job, Message and Tape Engines - click Startup..., in the Log On As section select This Account: domain\username password. Where username is your Arcserve Admin user.
