HI
After unistalling Exchange 2000 for a Windows 2000 server and installing Exchange 5.5 the Exchange Management service will not start! I have tried to look on the Microsoft site for info but can not find anything.
When you try and start the service, you get a popup that says:
Application popup: exmgmt.exe - Unable To Locate DLL : The dynamic link library dsaccess.DLL could not be found in the specified path C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\bin;.;C:\WINNT\System32;C:\WINNT\system;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Support Tools\.
Then the service fails in the envent log you get this:
The Microsoft Exchange Management service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Anyone have any ideas, I really do not want to rebuild these servers.
THanks
Phil
