how can i administer exchange from my local pc.<br>all i want is an icon on my desktop which will connect me to the mailserver. i'm using Nt workstation.i have tools such as VNC and Pc Anywhere but do not which to take over the whole desktop.<br>

i'm not working from a remote site. i want to connect through the LAN
 
You need to install the exchange administrator onto your local pc. It is on the Exchange CD in the client folder I think. There are two installers, one for 9x and one for NTW.
 
Exchange Admin is on the CD just place in drive and let auto app. run click exchange\componits then click admin. this if for 5.5 sorry about the spelling<br>kjk
