Greetings all,

I know that you are not supposed to use Windows Explorer to manipulate the "M:" drive on an Exchange Server but I use it to look a the mail boxes from time to time.

When I look at the rights on the mail boxes I see that the administrator has all rights check marked "denied". Can anyone check to see if thier E-mail boxes under M: are listed this way as well and tell me why or why not?

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment on this,

Victor

Default settings for Exchange 2000 are set so that no one has full rights to mailboxes, even administrators.

If you need access go to AD and select Exchange advanced and then mailbox rights for the users and check the box to allow you access. (must have advanced features selected on AD )
