Hi all,

I plan to install and run Exchange 2000 in our environment. At the moment, we've got Exchange 5.5 running on a very old box with Windows NT 4. I'm going to buy a new server and have Windows Exchange 2000 on the new server. Just wondering how I can do this? What are the steps involve? WHat sort of things do I have to look out for to avoid any serious issues.

thanks in advance

Hi ,

Exchange 2000 , There a lot of things to look out for.

You must make a plan of how you going to migrate to exchange 2000

Are you going to migrate the users to the new server or are you going for a complete new installation and making the users by hand.

Exchange 2000 needs active directory and dns
ad namespace ...yourcompany.com
Exchange 2000 organisation name

This download 21mb contains all the white papers for exchange 2000.
