Exchange 5.5 OWA and PDA synchronization

I have outlook web access installed on exchange server 5.5 and is working properly. We have PDA's here that we would like to sync over the internet connection. Can this be done with exchange 5.5 over an internet connection? If so what would I need to do to get this running?
