We've recently set up a new exchange server, migrating our old users using the ExMerge utility.
All user outlook sessions have been reconfigured to point to the new server.
Yesterday, we shut down the older server's internet mail service and information store service.
Around the same time, several users reported problems w/ their outlook sessions, which are setup for the new server.
Here's the outlook symptoms-- a user will receive mail but when they click on any message, the session freezes. Also, when they try composing a message, they can until they hit "send' and the session freezes.
This is a brand new Exchange 5.5 SP4 install. I'd be very concerned if database corruption has occured already.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tom
