exchange 5.5 moving error

Hi all,

While i was moving exchange 5.5 from NT Server to 2000 Server i got an error. Here is what i did ..

I backed-up the whole exchange directory from NT. I set up 2000 server as a domain controller, it has the same name as the old NT Server. I installed exchange 5.5 on 2000 and copied the backed up exchange files. When I tried to restart the Information Store i get an error with code 4021.

And when i try to run isinteg -patch i got the error

The private store could not be updated. Reason : DS_E_INSUFFICIENT_ACCESS_RIGHTS

Can someone help me please ??

HI!

You should have first read the manuals, before doing so.

In general you need ADC (Active Directory Connector) for this to work.
