We have an Exchange 5.5 server on our network (with no internet access). Every once in a while one of our Unix programmers will put in some bad code that floods our mail server. I was called in around 3am the other morning. We had a runaway job on a Unix box that was sending about 200-300 messages per minute. By the time we got everything stopped, etc there were 93000 messages backed up in the queue on the server. Does anyone have any ideas on how to block this sort of thing?
Thanks in advance,
Craig
