I am administering a client site that is about to divide into 2 separate companies operating from the same premises.
Can anyone assist in how I go about configuring the exchange to host the 2nd domain name and then to forward the mail to the relevant users.
Also, I have set up exchange in a lab environment but cannot find IMC. Is this because the lab domain is not register.

Any help would be appreciated and I put my hand up and admit that I am 9 months new to the industry and exchange experience is little.

Regards Ian

HI There!

You can host multiple domains using one IMC. Ensure that your ISP is routing both domain names to the same host, so when you do a nslookup for instance to: mail.mail2.com it resolves with the same external IP address as mail.mail1.com, then configure your IMC to take the new domain as inbound.

Hope it helps!:)
