Hello all,
Can someone help me solve this issue. I just restarted our Exchange Server running on Windows2K Server and Exchange 5.5 SP4 and the Event Service refuse to start. There is no error in the Event Viewer and when I try to start it manually it says "that this could be a internal Windows or internal service error". I did find something from Microsoft that had me manually registered 3 dlls See below:
regsvr32 exchangedir\bin\scripto.dll
regsvr32 exchangedir\bin\ss.dll
regsvr32 exchangedir\bin\esconf.dll---that didn't work. I also shutdown the server, that also didn't work.
Any help appreciated.
