Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 97

Got an issue with new accounts on an Exchange 5.5 server.
The user can login ok to the domain, but when attempts to login to Outlook is prompted for his username again and login fails.

I can log into the mailbox from my own Outlook mailbox.

Any advice?

Outlook 97 and Windows XP, Exchange 5.5 , AD

All old accounts are fine.
