I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the following.
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store
Event Category: Background Cleanup
Event ID: 1101
Date: 31/03/2003
Time: 01:15:08
User: N/A
Computer: <server_name>
Description:
Error 0x8004010f occurred on message 1-D6A138 during a background cleanup on database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (server_name)".

For more information, click I'm running Exchange 2k SP3 on Windows 2000 SP3 with all current updates applied.
This event appeared in the event logs this weekend (during the change from GMT to BST which might have something to do with it!) and although the Microsoft site says not to worry about this error, as it is just a notification about an attachment that is no longer there being reference by messages in the Message store, I would like to know if there is any way to search for instances of that particular message so that I can monitor it.

Thanks,

Lee

A write error may have occurred. This message has been changed by another process or an attempt was made to delete an unreferenced message.
This is a non-fatal error. No user action is required. The system will retry.

So, it's nothing to worry about.
