Exchange 2K + AD

Hi there,

I have recently installed exc2K on a box and I also have another box which is my FSMO/GC.

I run forestprep/domainprep and installed succesfully the exc2k on the server but the exchange tabs do not appear under the user properties.

Have I done something wrong, is there anything I can do to fix that or thats the way it works

If you're accessing this from a system other than the exchange server, you have to run exchange setup on that machine and do a custom install of just Microsoft Exchange System Management Tools. You'll have to do that on any system you want to be able to administrate exchange from, as well as any system doing backups of exchange.

If you're running this from the exchange server and still aren't seeing them, re-install and make sure the Management Tools are selected. Marc Creviere
