Hello all,
I'm trying to use the Exchange 2010 Unified Messaging in cnjunction with Cisco CallManager 7.1.5. I've got a functional Exchange Environment, as well as CallManager environment. I am able to call in to the Exchange server via an IP Phone, PIN works, listening to emails works, 2 way audio etc. My problem is when dialing in to the CallManager from the PSTN and having the Exchange UM setup as my voicemail, the call gets dropped without being able to leave a voicemail. I do not hear a personal greeting or name at all. Not sure if this is an Exchange 2010 issue or a CallManager issue. I DO have the Exchange 2010 UM role deployed in an ESX 4 virtual environment for testing purposes, if the solution works properly, I am thinking about replacing Unity Connections with the Exchange UM role, and at that time will deploy it on physical hardware per MS recommendations. I do not believe this issue to be caused by running Exchange UM in a VM environment, but am not sure what causes this strange behavior. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
