We have an issue with a customer where every week we lose Exchange. All the services stay up but the event log shows event id 9106 - MSExchangeApplicationLogic; Service MSExchangeMailSubmission. Exchange topology discovery encountered an exception Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Directory.ADTransientException: Could not find any available Domain Controller.

We are also seeing event 1015, 1022 and 1016 which likewise complain of a lack of connectivity to AD. Restarting the Edge Transport Service restores connectivity for another week. I have done a fair bit of Google searching and the only similar fault I could find was on this forum but the thread was closed with no conclusion. Any help appreciated.

How many Exchange servers are in your Exchange environment? And how many DCs in the site that Exchange is installed in?
