I have two sites each with an exchange 2010 server installed, the exchange servers have Hub Transport, Client Access and Mail Box Server roles installed.
There is one corporate site (EX1) and one disaster site (EX2).
I have setup a Data Availability Group to replicate the database between the two Exchange servers.
I also configured a Client Access Array on EX1 (caa1)and assigned it to the database on EX1 , but did not install Network Load Balancing, I plan on using a load balancing appliance, or manually updating the DNS record for the array if we have a client access failure.
After reading several blogs I believe I need to also create a Client Access Array on EX2 with a different array name (caa02).
Do I need do this? Can I assign the second client access array to the database that is part of the Data Availability Group so that the database is associated with both Client Access Arrays? Will this cause a problem with access from the clients?
I will have local users using Outlook 2010 and remote users using Outlook Anywhere.
Dose this configuration seem feasible?
