I am trying to set up Outlook 2016 (365) to connect to my Exchange Server 2010 for the first time.
I have 2 domains using Exchange domain1.us and domain2.us. Active Directory is setup with domain1.us
I have a cert from Godaddy that can support 5 domains. It is already installed in the Exchange server with mail.domain1.us, mail.domain2.us, autodiscover.domain1.us, autodiscover.domain2.us and domain2.us
I had setup autodiscover with domain1.us, adding autodiscover.domain1.us to dns.
I am trying to setup Outlook 2016, which can only be setup using autodisover, with an email address for domain2 but it is not working. According to this article I should run several commands in the EMS. Do I need to run each command twice, once for each domain or is there another (easier) way to set up auto discover for domain2, perhaps creating a cname for autodiscover.domain2.us to point to autodiscover.mydomain1.us (something tells me it is going to be harder then that). I did not run these commands when I originally setup and configured Exchange. I assume these were commands were run when Exchange was installed.
please excuse my ignorance I am fairly inexperience with Exchange.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Kevin
