Exchange 2010 ADC installation issue

Hi all I am trying to install an exchange 2010 server into our existing forest. All servers are 2008 R2 except our mail server which is 2003 and exchange 2003.

I follow all the guides and it keeps failing on the "Organization prerequisites" - one or more active director connectors have been found.

I have looked on the exchange server and no ADC is installed or running.

I have also followed guides to run mmc-adsiedit and have removed all adc connectors from within that.

Any ideas where im going wrong?

If you removed it from everywhere in ADSIEDIT, did you wait long enough for AD to replicate?
