Hi,

I currently have exchange 2007 SP1 with HT,CAS,MB,UM at one server and Edge on another server. I also have a BES Server in our organization. Publishing of exchange is through ISA server 2006. I now want to move exchange server to new machine and made a new Server.

There are 2 scenarios.

If I want to keep the same server name, then what should I do?
If I want to change the server name and migration should be online, then what should I do?

Kindly guide me how can I move it to new server keeping the same server name or new name? What changes I'll have to do for BES server after migration of Exchange server to new machine.

Thanks in advance.

What's the need behind keeping the same server name? There generally really isn't any need for that.

You'd have to build a new server with the same roles, configure everything the same way (connectors, certificates, etc.), then migrate users over and update all firewall, ISA, and routing rules.
