Hi guys

Firstly thanks for all your advice on the Exchange 2007 and AD issues I had.

Am just trying to adjust the Default Policy for email address @blah.co.uk so I can add more. But as its the legacy one from Exchange 2003 server (still live) I am asked to do the below:

Set-EmailAddressPolicy “Default Policy” -IncludedRecipients AllRecipients

So my question is:

How do I run that command? And what effect will it have if the majority of the mailboxes are still on the Exchange 2003 box?

Thanks again.

You run that command from the Exchange Management Shell on a 2007 server.

It will have no effect. It will allow you to manage that policy from 2007.

Whoops - hit send too soon.

I should add that you have to remove any/all mailbox management policies from recipient policies. Those are not supported in 2007.

Sorry 58sniper...you mean remove the recipient policies from the old Exchange 2003 Server right?

No. If you have mailbox management policies configured within your recipient policies, you have to remove those mailbox management policies. Then upgrade them with the line above.

I can confirm all worked fine and no effects so far, thanks for the help.

A second thing though if I may, how do you change the priority of the Hub Tansport Email Address Policies? My default domain is the lowest so whenever I try to add another its because the whole organizations primary email address which is no good.

Any ideas?

Thanks
