Does anyone know if I have to run ForestPrep and DomainPrep and a 2003 server that I am joining it to a 2003 SBS domain? Installing it with a "MCSE Guide for Exchange server 03" to learn and later test out 70-284. I also plan to implememnt in september a real exhange server.

It states as if it was suppose to be the first server in a domain and my test server will be in an existing sbs domain. Also I am installing the trial version of 2003 Exchange, will this matter?

the answer to your question is YES, you need to run domain prep and forcest prep just like in any other enviorment.

what i would like to add is that if your using the copy of exchange that you got w/ SBE, your not allowed to install it on another server, it has to be installed on the SBE server

SBE EULA sucks!

No, you don't need to run domainprep and forestprep to add a 2003 box to a 2003 domain - even an SBS domain.

Dunno what you mean about a "real Exchange server". You have one in SBS. Few differences than a non-SBS version.
