We're running Small Business Server 2003 (comes with Exchange 2003). We want our ISP to be hosting email (for less headaches related to viruses and such).
Can we implement Exchange 2003 to get the advantage of roaming Outlook 2003 settings (i.e. all employees have IMAP email accounts from our ISP...when they move to another computer we would like their IMAP account to be already configured in Outlook 2003 once it has been initially configured)...basically, we need the Outlook.pst file to be available to them as they roam.
Roaming Outlook settings were not possible to do without Exchange (we tried redirecting the Application Data folder to the server but that didn't work).
Please give instructions on how this can be configured in Exchange and Outlook.
