Under the default SMTP virtual server, Delivery, Advanced, there is a place for the fully qualified domain name. Should this name match the MX record name or the name of my internal domain?

Also, do I need to have an SMTP connector? I currently do not, and things seem to be working ok.

Thanks in avdance for the help!

To anser the second question - Exchange 2003 will send to the Internet fine with the standard default virtual SMTP server; you really only need an SMTP connector to handle the outbound SMTP traffic if you want more control over the connections - delivery restrictions, scheduling of the connection, delaying over-sized messages, route different address spaces differently, that sort of thing.
