Exchange 2003 SBS Dead, Need Help

Guys,

Yesderday I had power failure and for some reason the battery backup didn't shutdown the machine properly. So the database got corrupted with a few other things. I fixed alot of errors but this server is not going to come back. Now my questions is I need to retrieve a few mailboxes so that when I redo this server I can put that information right back. Now how can I go about extracting the mailbox and then put it back once I reinstall exchange 2003 ?

Easiest way is with Ontrack's Power Controls

http://www.ontrack.com/powercontrols/

This will let you extract the data to .pst files.

I would attempt a repair on the database first. I have written an FAQ on the subject:faq955-5581
