Hello all.

I recently added a domain address to an Exchange Email Address Policy but the change hasn't shown up as a default addition for the users and I'm not sure why. Yes, I made sure I applied the policy afterwards :-D

We currently have a mix of 3 mail name policies: Domain, UK and US with priorities set at Highest, 1 , 2 respectively. The UK filter is set to look at all mailboxes on our UK server, so in theory all UK mailboxes should have the newdomain.co.uk address as a default addition, but it's not there. And then I also noticed that other, unique to the UK, addresses were missing from UK accounts as well, so it looks like the whole of the UK policy is being missed out.

The only difference I can see between these three policies (apart from the filters, which all look fine) is that the UK one has both the E-Mail Addresses and Mailbox Manager Settings property pages selected whilst the other two only have the email one selected. I found an article which states: "To verify that you are not applying a Mailbox Manager policy on any of the email policies, you need to right click on each policy in the ESM and verify that the property pages do not include "Mailbox Manager Settings".

So could it be as simple as unchecking the MMS property page to have the UK policy recognised? As I didn't do the original setup I don't want to try it without getting some expert advice first... and that's where you lovely people come in [thumbsup]

All help appreciated.

Thanks,

Neil.
