Here is a background of whats going on.
We have exchange 2003 std edition on windows 2003 server std edition.
Our 16 GB database was full so we applied exchange sp2. All
the mail that was stuck cleared but we were not able to get any new mail nor were we able to send out mail. we never got any bounced back mail for the messages we sent. Messages are pilling in the exchange user folder. we can see through exchange manager but when we try to check through OWA we dont see any new emails.
In the system exchange manager in Mailbox store >>Mailboxes
when we send messages and check the mailboxes the counter increases and shows the total number of items in mailboxes are increased by 1 but we don't get any mail and not any bounced back email also.
And if we see message tracking it says that
report generated intrnally
SMTP Store Driver: Message submited from store
SMTP Store Driver: Submitted messageto MTA
Unroutable report discarded
