exchange 2003 message tracking logs

Using CR11 and Exchange 2003, I'm trying to create an email usage report based off the message tracking logs in Exchange. Something basic: user, number of messages, size, etc.

I can read the logs, but there are 8 duplicate messages for each email, and the "Select Distinct records" option is greyed out for this report.

Has anyone had any success querying these log files accurately into some type of report? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

If you've got 8 duplicate messages for each email, group by e-mail. Suppress the detail line and show the data you want in the group header or footer.

You can also do Running Totals that add just once for a group.
