I'm looking to replicate my Exchange 2003 to a branch office to act like a hot spare. I've looking at 3 products to accomplish this: Neverfail, Double-Take, and XOSoft WanSync. Does anyone out there have any of these products in place on there network? If so, how do you like it? Any recommentations for what product you would choose?

Thanks.

I hear you. I'm leaning towards DoubleTake. It is definitely the most cost efficient out of the 3 and I really like the simple gui. Neverfail is extremely expensive. Plus, Double-Take has a support staff dedicated to the product. I've read about how XOSoft support has been less then great ever since CA bought them out b/c XOSoft is not CA's bread and butter product.

It all depends on what you're looking for. If you need a rock solid failover solution in case of hardware failure of your primary server, a cluster is the better, cheaper solution.

DoubleTake and NeverFail come in when you need a site resiliency solution in case your primary site becomes a smoking hole.

Plan for performance, and capacity takes care of itself. Plan for capacity, and suffer poor performance.

Yeah, I'm looking for site resiliency. If the building blows up here or internet line goes down I want it failing over to the disaster recovery site.
