Exchange 2003 - Error 1008 (unable to move mailbox)

Hi

I am trying to move mailboxes from one server to another, but this is failing with Error ID: 1008 , the message text is below:

“Unable to move mailbox <name>
Error: A duplicate mailbox was found due to problems during a Move Mailbox procedure. The duplicate mailbox has been deleted. Try again later”

Any ideas?

search the new server that you tried to move to and see if there is a mailbox with his name on it. If you are able to "purge" it.
