Is there a way to enable Auto Reply in Exchange 2003? I don't mean setting up the rules wizard or out of office. I know that netscape has that feature, but does microsoft?

Thanks!

I don't know if you are using Outlook or not, but in Outlook, under Tools - Options, you can choose Out of office Assistant, and set an autoreply.

No, not through the client. On the server side. Can EXCHANGE 2003 setup an auto reply. Basically, we have users that left the company but need to keep there email account on the exchange server with their domain account disabled. This way you can have some email them and they get an auto response from the server.

there was a Microsoft KB article on auto reply vs the Out of Office reply, something about setting something on the server beginning with W2k.
