Exchange 2003 and Sharepoint

I'm looking for some guidance in anyone has done this before. I have an Exchange 2003 server I want to add the capability for my users to be able to access the file server. Has anyone installed the Sharepoint services on an Exchange server? If so did you run into any issues? I'm with a very small company and am limited to how many servers I can use.
