Exchange 2003 and sendmail

Hi,

I need to put my sendmail server act as a email relay to my exchange server. What do i need to do?

Hi,

You can use smarthost option where you can forward all your mail to exchange server.

is your best friend. anyway a proper way to add smarthost is edit your sendmail.mc file and insert:

define(`SMART_HOST', `exchange.server.com')

save it and recompile sendmail and restart sendmail. Make sure "exchange.server.com can be resolved to ip.

Dirty way is to edit sendmail.cf file. This method is not recommended. Go to line "DS" and insert as below:

DSexchange.server.com

save the file and restart sendmail.
