We have parent and child domain and a shared exchange infrastructure (2 administrative groups). Parent domain has its own exchange server and child domain has its own exchange server. However, child domain uses parent domain's exchange server as a default mail gateway.
When we have visitors from parent domain coming to child domain, they are complaining that their connection back to parent domain's exchange is slow. We have 3 Global catalog servers in place.
I will appreciate any pointers to what can be causing the slowness for people trying to connect to the primary exchange from child domain. we have a point to point WAN.
