Exchange 2003 and AD info

Hello;

Does the information in AD Users and Computers get e-mailed out? In the Address tab of Users and Computers I am being asked to put in home address and phone numbers but did not want to do so if when someone e-mails they are sending their personal info. I noticed that within the LAN you can click on the persons name and save their information as a contact. I tried e-mailing my outside account but could not see any of the contact info. If I where to e-mail someone in another company that is using Exchange 2003 would they be able to see my contact information?
