Exchange 2000 1

i have sbs 2003 & exc 2000
i installed AVG 8 internet security
now error message states that the exch internet mail storage wont start

tried to manually start but isn't playing

can someone please help

If you have SBS 2003, your Exchange is 2003 too.

What is the exact error message that you get?

Have you excluded the relevant directories from file level scanning by your AVG 8?

Well that's a good start !!!

outlook was for some reason 2000

OK - when i press start on the microsoft eschange information store i get the error:

windows could not start meis check event log - code 0

Event log :Error 0x80004005 starting the meis
failed to init Vserver

clicking on the link to Ms - no solution

exactly the same problem - a securit registry change
