exchange 2000 with more than 2 nics keeps having routing problems!!! 1

Hi I really need some help from you guys,

My exchange server has now had the addition of a third network card, for the sole purpose of backups.... this card is on a separate subnet, attached to a separate switch and for all intents and purposes is completely separate. What seems to be happening is that my exchange server keeps trying to route mail out througg the wrong card and i cant find anyway to prevent it..... any ideas ??

Change the binding order.

Also setup SMTP Virtual Server to the main NIC. Dan

Many thanks for the help, Ive now changed the card binding order and foced the smtp virtual server to just the internal and external cards and all seems to be working great.
