Exchange 2000 Web Client Starts the Windows Installer When Composing N

I have seen this before where the first time you create a message this occurs, and it is solved by allowing the Windows Installer to run through the process with the MSOffice CD. Then it goes away.

On this Windows 2000 PC it is asking everytime they try and create a new message. Odd thing ... I can not remove the install of Office 2000 (has sp2).

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Is this OWA or Outlook you are talking about?
If Outlook, you may be using Word as your e-mail editor, change that.

It is an OWA problem.

Ok, but I don't quite see why OWA, which simply browsing, requires you to insert the Office CD?
What excactly does it install (or tries)?
