Hello All, i have a client with a Windows 2000 Backoffice Setup with the standard version of exchange, the problem im having is when we first installed the server there were 15 users, now there is over 100 and every 3 days they are hitting the 16 gigabyte database limit on exchange and i am having to constantly toss mail etc. its a graphics company so capping the mailboxes with a preset size causes more problems and call ins to me.

What i would like to do if possible is upgrade them to Exchange Enterprise. Has anyone had any experience or have any ideas if this can be done and how much configuration after the fact is needed? these guys really dont pay there bills on time so i would like to keep the work needed afterwards to a mininimum

I guess the exact questions i have are can i just "upgrade" there current version or do i need to do a uninstall and reinstall of exchange? any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

straight upgrade, no problem. as an aside, you may want to push a little harder on those limits before your store gets out of hand....

oh believe me the powers that be have no idea how critical it is & when i try to explain its like shooting a dead horse. they just dont understand. i will try the upgrade on a test box tonight to see how it works
thanks
