Exchange 2000 to an external email account

I have a problem sending to an external client.

I send mail but recipient doesnt receive it and i dont get an NDR. It only happens with this one customer.
If i do an nslookup of there mail server the address is resolved.
When i try to tracert the request times out.

Where do i look to resolve this problem please.
Any help would be great
