Exchange 2000 smtp mail

I am running Exchange 2000. It is behind a router. All incoming mail comes in fine and internal mail works also. We cannot send outgoing mail messages. I checked the DNS and everything appears to be correct. Can anyone offer me any insight?

Are there any messages in the Virtual SMTP Servers queue in System Manager?

Can you send internal mail?

Is this a new problem on an established server or a new server?

This can be caused if there are any invalid connectors. Do you see ANY connectors? Dan
