Exchange 2000 Out of Office Assistant

I have recently upgraded from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2000, and my out of office messages are no longer working within the company, nor outside of the company. I have gone into Global settings and enabled messages to the internet, but it is still not working. We are using Outlook for our mail client. Thanks.
