Hello gang,

In Exchange 2000 Server, can we add an External Email address in the Global Address list. An External Internet Email of somebody without account on the domain.

Thank Body !

Through Microsoft Outlook, create a Public Folder. Make sure you create it in the All Public Folders folder, and make sure it is a Contact foler (from the drop down list)

You can then add and remove contacts, which everyone can see.

Another work around it to create a "Contact" in AD, and this will show up in the Global Address List. However this is a huge pain if you have multiple accounts you want to add, and it's also a pain to manage.

You can't add addresses to the Global Address List, unless they exist in the Active Directory (or at lease no one has told me otherwise).

Easiest way is to create a public folder.
