exchange 2000 connection problem

Hi

I have just installed exchange 2000 on windows adv server 2000 which has active directory . I am trying to connect to my exchange server through exchange administrator . It says connection could 't made to the exchange server "computer name". exchange server computer doesn't respond


Microsoft exchange directory
id no:DS_E_COMMUNICATIONS_PROBLEM
