We are going to MS AD from a mixed network. As part of that process we will be going to Exchange 2000. We currently use BAB v9.01 to backup our Exch 5.5 server. The staff is leaning toward BE for the new E2K install.

Can anyone who has experience with "both products" offer some opinions as to which works best for E2K with specific reasons why?

[ponder] Appreciate any input!

Right now I'm locked into using BAB 9 for another year and I hate it. CA has a horrible knowledge base in my opinion. I thought BE was more "stable". I don't have much confidence in BAB and live in fear of a major failure, especially with Exchange.

BE is great. Have lots of experience with it, and never had real problems with it.
Some of my customers have BAB. Below v11 it sucks big time.

I would advise BE. put some extra $$$$ in it for an Exchange agent and OFO and your ready to go.
